Hi there, I’m Justin Turner, the founder of Turner Home Team. We are a Veteran owned home buying company proudly serving North & South Carolina. While serving as a Licensed Real Estate Agent, I started noticing a recurring problem that bothered me. I would meet homeowners who were completely overwhelmed by ‘burdensome’ properties—homes that needed major repairs, inherited houses filled with years of belongings, or seniors who just wanted a simple, dignified way to move without the stress of making repairs and jumping through all the hoops of listing your home with an agent.
As I transitioned into the home-buying world, I saw another, even more concerning problem: untrustworthy companies taking advantage of vulnerable sellers. I watched firsthand as national ‘investment’ firms and fly-by-night buyers used a classic bait-and-switch tactic. They would make an attractively high offer just to get a homeowner under contract and lock them in. Then, they would wait until the very last minute—just days before closing—to threaten to back out unless the seller agreed to drop their price by tens of thousands of dollars. By then, the seller had often already packed their boxes or made plans for their next move, leaving them with no choice but to take the lower price.

About Justin Turner
Justin Turner started Turner Home Team while he was in college at East Carolina University. He has always been passionate about helping others, which began early on in his life. In fact, Justin was a volunteer firefighter during his time in high school. After graduating, he decided to serve his country and enlisted in the United States Army. Once he completed his military service, Justin returned home to use his GI Bill benefits to attend East Carolina University.
While attending ECU, Justin worked as a full-time Real Estate Agent. Justin graduated with top honors, achieving Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Finance. Justin possesses a keen analytical mind and is skilled at applying logical thinking to even the most emotional situations. Justin is both a Licensed General Contractor and Licensed Real Estate Agent. He has been an active real estate investor in the Carolinas for more than five years and has owned and/or sold hundreds of investment properties over the course of his career.
In his free time, Justin enjoys visiting the beach with his wife, Blair, and their beloved “sons,” Harvey & Duke, who both happen to be Labrador retrievers.
